Martial Arts

Baptist Health Family Fitness in Corbin offers the complete Shaolin-Do Martial Art System, led by 10th Degree Grandmaster Sin Kwang The', the third grandmaster to master the complete Shaolin-Do system. All Kentucky schools are overseen by 9th Degree Elder Master Bill Leonard. Shao-lin was founded in the 6th century in Northern China. We offer our students 1,500 years of tradition, philosophy and technique that trains both mind and body. Shaolin-Do is a traditional martial art which requires great discipline to be successful and is said to be  the most comprehensive martial art system in the world. One who wishes to take this journey into the art of Shaolin-Do must show dedication, loyalty and respect.

Lil' Dragons
We can never reinforce enough how to protect our children from life's dangers. In our Lil' Dragons Martial Art classes, specially designed for preschoolers, we teach more than kicking and punching. Our students learn life skills. Stranger Danger, Drug Awareness, Fire Safety and much much more! This class is for preschool kids 4 years old to 6 years old. For more information on Lil Dragon classes, download this flyer.

Kid Escape
CHILD ABDUCTION -Is there any hope? Yes there is... Your children are taught to run, shout, pull away, wiggle, hit, kick and do whatever they can to get away. All great tips, but the reality is during an attack knowledge alone isn't enough to protect your children. This hands-on class solves this child abduction and sexual abuse prevention training dilemma by creating an instant escape instinct in your children without scaring them. Your child will be safer with this knowledge. To learn more about this class download this flyer.

Smart Escape
Why do we spend most of our time learning self-defense moves on our feet when almost every violent attack ends up on the ground? Why do we worry about "strangers" when 9 out of 10 abductions and attacks are by a familiar face? For 20 years John Hall has studied real people who have actually been attacked or abducted and then escaped using simple, unexpected movements. This presentation is centered around seven secrets of self defense to escape from thieves, kidnappers and attackers who like to hurt people."Coordination and athletic ability aren't required".
